Adult ADHD and You
Did you grow up with an ADHD diagnosis?
Just because you became an adult doesn't mean your ADHD went away, but many times, the effort to treat the disease stops when teens graduate from high school
Does any of this sound familiar?
*Can't seem to stay focused on tasks
*Many projects get started, none of them get finished
*Can't keep to deadlines and constantly feeling anxiety over meeting them
*Can't sit still in meetings and annoying supervisors and co-workers
*Co-workers and supervisors have feel like you never pay attention
*Poor attention to detail leads to careless mistakes and errors
*Forgetfulness, easy distraction or always losing things or losing track of time
*Having to fight the urge to interrupt conversations and meetings
*Having trouble managing emotions or not acting on the first thing that comes to mind

Dr. Dave and Solution Pathways Can Help!
Dr Dave is a pediatrician but he has extensive experience treating ADHD in adults as well. The principles are the same. If you are in the Southern Nevada area, make an appointment. Dr. Dave will send you a diagnostic survey to see what symptoms are you having and will consult with you in person about your treatment options and/or counseling options. After the first in-person visit, subsequent follow-ups occur at least every 90 days by telemedicine, with in-person follow-up done annually if you are accepted in treatment. Of course, you can call, text or email Dr. Dave any time with questions once you are a patient!
Comprehensive Analysis
Dr Dave will review your responses to the intake questionnaire and assess your current and past symptoms
Therapy
If you have more than one mental health issue, therapy is essential. Even if the only issue is ADHD, seeing a therapist can aid in self-understanding and management. Dr. Dave is not a therapist, but he can coach you and suggest therapy resources to use in combination with medial treatment
Medication
Dr. Dave will work with you to determine if medication is right for you. This may include traditional stimulants like Adderall or Concerta, but can also include non-stimulant medication.
Ethical Prescribing
Dr. Dave is committed to ethical prescribing. Since many ADHD medications are controlled substances, a medication agreement will be signed committing both Dr. Dave and you to following all laws and regulations regarding these types of medications
Self Management tools
Many people with ADHD have mild symptoms that can be managed with simple self-guided tools. Ultimately, the goal is to find ways to manage symptoms in order to reduce or eliminate the need for medication if possible
Customized to Your Needs
No two patients are alike. Dr. Dave wants to make sure al of your needs and concerns are addressed and you have a treatment plan customized to your needs!
